SolarGemz is New Zealand's first certified and safe to use diy tooth gem kit designed to put a little sparkle on your smile! We use Swarovski crystals and Dental Grade UV Bonding Glue and Cleansing Gel, set by a UV light, for a long-lasting bond that is easy to apply and also remove if needed. Our products guarantee a pain-free, quality experience that will surpass your expectations! 

SolarGemz are temporary! From the time of application they can last up to three weeks, this can sometimes be shorter or longer. As our teeth come in different textures, shapes, and sizes, results vary and we cannot guarantee everyone will have the same results. You may not have
the same result as your friends. If you pick and play with it, it can fall off sooner. You can still brush your teeth and eat as normal when wearing SolarGemz. Tip: To make the most out of your Solar Gemz kit and prolong your products, store it in a dark place, away from UV light
and sunshine.

No. All materials are Dental Grade and certified! It is made specifically for your tooth and it will not cause any harm to your tooth. Mild and temporary sensitivity may occur. However, because these materials are dental grade, they contain chemicals that can cause harm when used improperly or on any part of the body that is not the tooth. Our glue and gel should only touch the tooth, and should avoid all contact with gums or other mucus membranes during the application process.

Our SolarGemz kit comes with Dental Grade UV Bonding glue and Cleansing Gel. When the cleansing gel is rubbed on the tooth, it
microscopically buffs the enamel, causing it to temporarily look chalky! The amount of time the cleansing gel is rubbed on the tooth, and the chalkiness of the tooth's surface will determine how long the gem stay. Next the glue is applied on the
tooth, and cured with a UV light which allows the glue to set and the gem to remain in place.

Not at all! Applying SolarGemz is a painless process. Mild and temporary tooth sensitivity might occur after application. Similar to a sensation you might experience after whitening your teeth or brushing with whitening toothpaste.

You may experience a bit of a sour taste in your mouth after the application. However once you rinse your mouth with water the taste goes away! Be sure to throughly rinse your mouth out with water after application. DO NOT ingest the UV Bonding glue or Cleansing Gel. If more than a pea size amount is ingested or swallowed, contact a Doctor immediately.

Yes! Solargemz are safe on veneers and dentures, however they might not last as long as they would on tooth enamel!

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY GEMS WHEN WEARING BRACES

All starter kits include, cleansing gel, glue and a uv light as well as 5 swarovski crystal gems! Your kit will also include accesories to aid application including a pencil wax picker, 4 micro brush applicators and 4 cotton rolls. All items included in our starter kit will be available for seperate purchase on our website.

STEP 1: Using a microbrush, dip into the bottle that says "STEP 1” and apply the gel to one end of a cotton roll, this is the cleansing gel and should be blue/ green in colour. Now take the cotton roll with the gel and rub the tooth you are wanting to apply your gem for about 20 seconds, this should be making your desired tooth dry and chalky. NEXT, take another cotton roll and dip one end of it in water then wipe gel off teeth (no gel should remain on the tooth! use the opposite dry end of the cotton roll to then dry the tooth once more. Tip: throughout the application to keep your mouth open and avoid saliva getting on your teeth and wiping off any product, you can put another cotton roll under your lip to hold it in place.

STEP 2: Using another microbrush, dip into the bottle that says "STEP 2"
apply a thin layer of bonding agent to the desired tooth gem location. Make sure not to swallow or close your mouth when applying the glue.

STEP 3: Use the provided wax pencil to pick up the gem and press it onto the desired location and thin layer of glue. Now you may adjust the jewel positioning with the microbrush if needed. Once you are happy with the placement, take the uv light cure and start light curing from the top for
about 20 seconds, from the back of the tooth for another 20 seconds, from the left side for 20 seconds and finally from the right side for 20 seconds ( TOTAL 80 seconds) Lastly, immediately rinse your mouth out to remove any remaining product.

SolarGemz are super easy to remove!
If it does not come off on its own within 1 to 2 weeks, just pick it off using your nail, or even a tweezer. You can also slide a piece of floss in between your tooth and the Gem itself. If you still feel a little glue or gem backing stuck to your tooth, take your finger nail and scratch it off. You may also use the tip of an emory board AKA nail file. Be extra careful to only file away the backing or glue, and not your tooth.

No. Gems are only made to be cured once as previous cured glue will remain on the gem.
